This policy explains how Bhanupratap Singh, sole proprietor trading as vedbhanu, handles personal information. I am the data controller for the information described here.
1. Information I collect
When you visit this website
- No analytics and no advertising trackers. This site runs no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels and no behavioural tracking. I do not build a profile of visitors.
- The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and basic request information to deliver the page and block abuse. This is standard infrastructure logging.
When you use something on the site
- Email signup: your name and email address, submitted through a MailerLite form.
- Booking a call: your name, email, timezone and anything you type into the booking form, handled by Cal.com.
- Free tools: the Shotmark editor runs entirely in your own browser. Images you open in it are never uploaded and never reach me.
When you become a client
- Contact and billing details: name, business name, email, phone, billing address, and tax registration where relevant.
- Payment records: invoice amounts, dates and status. Card numbers never reach me. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
- Access to the business systems needed to do the work, which may include your customer or member data held in your own tools.
- Correspondence: emails, call notes and messages relating to the engagement.
2. How I use it
- To reply to you, run scheduled calls, and deliver the services you have asked for.
- To issue invoices, take payment and keep the accounting and tax records Indian law requires.
- To send the email newsletter, only where you signed up for it. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe.
- To keep systems I have built for you working.
I do not sell personal information, ever, to anyone. I do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
3. Client data I access during a project
Building a system usually means working inside your accounts, where your own customer or member data lives. When that happens:
- I access only what the work requires, and only for as long as the work requires it.
- I do not copy, export or retain your customer data outside your own systems.
- I do not use your data to train any AI model, and where a system I build sends data to an AI provider such as Anthropic, that is stated in your documentation so you know exactly what leaves your tools.
- Access is removed at the end of the engagement, and you can revoke it yourself at any time since it is your account.
4. Who it is shared with, and how
Personal information is shared only with the service providers needed to run the business. Each receives it over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS), only for the purpose listed, and none is permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- Stripe
- Payment processing. Receives your name, email, billing address and payment details directly. Stripe is PCI DSS compliant.
- MailerLite
- Email newsletter delivery. Receives the name and email you submit on the signup form.
- Cal.com
- Call scheduling. Receives the details you enter when booking.
- Cloudflare
- Website hosting and delivery. Processes request data including IP address.
- Google Fonts
- Typefaces are loaded from Google's font servers, which receive your IP address as part of the request.
- Email and file storage
- Google Workspace, for correspondence and documents relating to your engagement.
- Accountant and tax authorities
- Invoice and payment records, as required for GST and income tax filings in India.
Some of these providers are outside India, so your information may be processed abroad. Information is also disclosed where the law requires it, such as a valid order from a court or tax authority.
5. How it is protected
- The site is served over HTTPS. All data in transit is encrypted.
- Accounts are protected with strong unique passwords held in a password manager, and two factor authentication wherever the provider supports it.
- Client system credentials are never stored in plain text and are never shared over unencrypted channels.
- Access is limited to me. This is a sole proprietorship, so there is no wider team and no shared logins.
- Payment card data is never stored anywhere in my systems, because it never arrives there.
- No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, I will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay.
6. How long it is kept
- Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe, then removed.
- Enquiries that do not become work: up to 2 years.
- Client correspondence and project records: for the engagement and 3 years after, so I can support what was built.
- Invoices and financial records: 8 years, as required under Indian tax law.
7. Your rights
You can ask me to:
- tell you what personal information I hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything inaccurate
- delete it, where I am not required by law to keep it
- stop using it for marketing, which you can also do yourself by unsubscribing

These rights are given under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Clients and visitors in the UK and the EU have equivalent rights under the UK GDPR and the GDPR, and those are honoured in the same way, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies
I set no cookies of my own and run no advertising or analytics cookies. The Cal.com booking widget and the MailerLite signup form may set cookies needed to work when you interact with them. You can block cookies in your browser and the rest of the site will still work normally.
9. Children
These services are sold to businesses. The site is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version appears here with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients are communicated by email.
