This policy applies to all services supplied by vedbhanu, the trade name of Bhanupratap Singh, sole proprietor, and forms part of the terms of service.
1. What I sell
Custom automation and business systems work: consulting, design, build, documentation and ongoing support. These are services delivered digitally and remotely. No physical goods are sold or shipped, so no shipping or delivery charges apply.
2. Service delivery
- The free systems audit is delivered within 5 working days of the call.
- Fixed-scope builds are delivered to the timeline stated in your written scope, typically 2 to 4 weeks from start.
- Delivery means the system is live on your own accounts, plus a walkthrough recording and written documentation handed to you.
- Retainer work is delivered continuously across each monthly billing period.
- Where a delivery date will be missed, I tell you before the date, not after, along with a revised date.
3. Cancellations
- Before work starts. You can cancel any agreed project in writing before work begins, at no cost. Any deposit already paid is refunded in full.
- After work starts. You can cancel a project at any time in writing. You are charged only for the work completed up to the cancellation date, and any balance is refunded. You keep whatever has been built and documented up to that point.
- Retainers. Month to month with 30 days written notice. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Notice given during a paid month means the retainer runs to the end of the following billing period, then stops.
- By me. I may end an engagement in writing if the work turns out to be outside what I can deliver well, if access needed to do the work is not provided, or if invoices go unpaid. In the first two cases any unearned fees are refunded in full.
4. Refunds
- Deposits are refunded in full if you cancel before work has started, or within 7 days of payment where no work has yet been done.
- Work already delivered is not refundable, because it is custom work built on your own accounts and cannot be resold or taken back.
- If a delivered system does not do what the written scope said it would, tell me and I will fix it at no charge. If I cannot make it do what was agreed, that portion of the fee is refunded in full.
- Retainer months already started are not refundable, since the work is delivered across the month. Cancel with notice instead and the following month is not billed.
- Where a build is invoiced only on proof, as stated in some written scopes, no payment is taken until the agreed result has happened, so there is nothing to refund. If the result does not happen, nothing is owed.
- Duplicate or incorrect charges are refunded in full, without question.
5. How to request a refund
Email abdbhanu12@gmail.com with "Refund request" in the subject, your invoice number, and what you would like refunded and why. You do not need a form.
- I acknowledge every request within 2 working days.
- A decision, with reasons, follows within 7 working days.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 to 10 working days of approval. How long it then takes to appear on your statement is set by your bank or card issuer, not by me.
- Refunds are made in the currency originally charged. Where currency has moved between payment and refund, the amount in your own currency may differ slightly. Bank charges deducted by intermediary banks on international transfers are outside my control.
6. Disputes
If you are unhappy with a decision, reply to the same email thread and I will look at it again myself. I would rather resolve it directly than have you raise a chargeback, and in practice that is faster for both of us.
